One of the reasons our City can claim the title the “City of Champions” is the many great facilities in which we have to develop our athletes.
Most of these facilities are made available through our Parks and Recreation department and one such facility that is the class of Canada is our River Valley.
In this mural, Tag Kim, draws attention to but a few of the ongoing activities that take place in the river valley

on a typical summer Sunday. During any season, the river valleys natural bounty served up by the dedicated co-workers of the Edmonton Parks and Recreation provides lifestyle that is the envy of many cities throughout North America.
This mural is dedicated to Edmonton’s Parks and Recreation department who continually deliver good times to Edmontonians and their guests.
