‘Stanley’ was first presented at the Hockey Alberta 100th Anniversary gala November 29, 2007 at Rexall Place. In a ceremony at United Cycle on November 30, 2007, ‘Stanley’ was unveiled and shared with the public as a ‘gift to hockey in Alberta’.

Our ‘Stanley’ is a truly Alberta made project and would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of an exceptional team. It is only fitting that the Stanley Cup is the only award in professional sports that recognizes the entire team – including support staff. We thank everyone who participated in the ‘Spirit of Stanley’!
