Boots may be the single most important item when purchasing a snowboard.
Everything from how much heel-lift you have to how close your toes are to the end of the liner as well as lateral movement (how much your foot wiggles left to right). All brands fit differently, some fit wider and some narrower as well as different levels of stiffness. More novice riders will get a softer boot and rippers like them stiff.
Ultimately is comes down to comfort. If a boot doesn't feel right don't get it just because it's cool.
